GBC was started in 2003 with a small group of people who were committed to making disciples. We believe that disciple making is an intentional and relational process through which a person is equipped to serve God in His ministry. We emphasize each person’s service in God’s Kingdom work, according to the gifts God has given them, because we think that Christians experience God most profoundly when they participate in His ministry.
GBC is fairly unique because discipleship isn’t one of the things we do, it is really the only thing we do. All of our ministry efforts, whether fellowship, service, or outreach are ultimately designed to equip people to serve God – to make disciples!
